ISU believes that successful technology initiatives need a team of experts using industry best practices and collaborating with clients to deliver world-class solutions.
Project Management / Agile
Each project at ISU gets an assigned project manager. We use an Agile project methodology called SCRUM to deliver working functionality in 2-3 week cycles. This iterative approach allows the product owner to drive development through feature prioritization and a continuous feedback loop which facilitates accountability and team communication.
We believe that this type of collaboration supports staying on time and on budget while delivering a solution that provides value to the product owner and end users.
User Centered Design / Lean UX
We work with you to understand who your users are and, how and why they will use the product. Our iterative process focuses on developing prototypes, learning from frequent user feedback and understanding your value proposition and metrics of success.
Advocacy / Partnerships
ISU works with the broader UCSF IT to understand how to best leverage resources across campus to make your project a success.
As your technology partner we help identify and envision innovative solutions. Need help figuring out the technical approach for a grant application or funding request? We will draw on a bevy of solution finding methods like building prototypes and conducting design-thinking workshops to provide insight and direction.
